The Exterior

TinySol is eight and a half feet wide which is the maximum width you can trailer down the road without a permit. It's 16 feet long on the outside. The walls are constructed with two by three studs. The stud cavities are filled with rigid foam insulation. The sheathing is quarter inch marine plywood covered with Tyvek. Cedar clapboards cover the Tyvek and but up against Azik trim boards. The roof is made of twelve 190 watt AstroEnergy panels in six strings of 2 panels feeding an Outback GTFX3048 w/ FM80 FlexPower ONE inverter system FP1-25. Both the solar panels and the inverter were purchased from Wholesale Solar
Excess solar energy is stored in a Lithionics 48 volt 100 amp hour battery.

The house and trailer together weigh 6900 pounds. The trailer weighs approximately 2000 punds so the house is close to 5000 pounds all by itself.
